LWV Town Hall - New Rights Under Proposal 2 of 2022

Join Us Nov. 29: LWV Town Hall - New Voting Rights Under Prop. 2

with Howell City Clerk Deanna Robson

Since the passage of Prop 2 in 2022, we have new voting rights in 2024. These include

  • the right to vote early in every statewide and federal election,
  • the right to sign up to become a permanent mail voter,
  • the right to prepaid return postage on absentee ballots and applications, and
  • the right to an enhanced tracking system for absentee ballots and applications, just to name a few.

The goal of our Town Hall is to provide you with the information you need to understand your new rights, how you can exercise them, and what, if anything, you can do to make sure that your new rights are implemented successfully.
