The LWVMI Firearm Safety Network is pleased to present a virtual public forum with Michael Waldman, President, and CEO of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. The presentation will focus on his book, The Second Amendment: A Biography. Does this much quoted amendment forbid any kind of firearm regulations? Waldman, a constitutional lawyer and writer who is an expert on the presidency and American democracy, and a member of the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States in 2021, offers a historical perspective.
